All active students, faculty, and staff are eligible for email accounts (wce.ac.in). Electronic mail is a primary means of communication on campus. Many official WCE communications are transmitted to students, faculty, and staff via email. It is an important vehicle for communications between students and their faculties, a convenient organizational tool for groups and departments, and a quick method for sharing ideas and information among friends and colleagues.
All students and employees at Walchand College of Engineering are given an official e-mail account. The e-mail is used as an official means of communication; therefore, all users are responsible for the consequences of not checking their e-mail on a regular basis. The college will not be held responsible for poor e-mail communications, account quotas, lost or falsely-routed e-mails and delays resulting from the use. The use of college e-mail shall be consistent with the college policies as well as local, central & state government laws.
The password used with your user-id is valuable and should remain known to you alone. It is used to authenticate your identity in many IT-related services. In addition, you are totally responsible for all activity that takes place from your account. To safeguard your identity do not share your password with anyone and change it should you find that others learn of it.
